Christmas in Red + Yellow

Merry Merry Christmas Everybody!
So bless to be able to celebrate yet another Christmas with my family an of course celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ my one and first love. I wore this Hollandis print dress to church today and definitely could not go without my gele (Headtie).

Now I saw this dress somewhere online a few months ago and basically fell in love with it so I had to get one made for my self.

Mixing different print is definitely in style and you can't go wrong with colors that plays well with each other. You can choose to go with different print like I did here or same print in different colors.

My Gele (heatie) skills becoming on point :)

My rule to a sleeveless Dress is always have a crop jacket or cover up added to it this you to wear it to church or special events at any time

The original dress I fell in love with

Let it snow!!

We had another mini snow this past weekend and I sure can say I'm missing the snow a little bit already. Looking back 4-5 years ago New England snow used to be massive and off course 6-7 snow days a year in on campus was always excited, great days to catch up on sleep and some homework. I have actually stop paying attention to snow warnings lately so was shocked when everywhere was white after service so I managed to take a few picture in this ankara dress marked as one of my favorite.

This Picture came out blurry but it was one of my favorite, kodak moment perhaps

My braids are finally out and I must say I definitely wore those braids to the max. They should be back again  in February most likely and  for now I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. On an attempt to relaxing my hair 2-4 times a year, I had not relax my hair since July so it was very hard to deal with and I can say I'm loving the new length it has grown *happy dance*

Christmas is right around the corner and I am more than excited for all the festivities happening this weekend.. (Watch out for plenty Ankara posts). There would be Christmas without Christ, and I won't be here without Christ, for by His grace I am what I am today.

What are you doing this Christmas??

Print Love

Hello lovely bloggers hope you are all enjoying the holiday season. So for this rest of the year I have decided to incorporate prints in my outfits so anything from casual to a more formal wear will be print. For today's post I got this dress made by a friend for my graduation party earlier this year and have not worn it ever since so for thanksgiving Sunday I decided to dig it out of my closet and since its a tube dress I paired it up with a chic blazer. I wanted to be able to wear the dress casual or formal so the bottom of the dress is detachable

Detached the bottom of the dress.

Pretty in Purple

Hola Belles, hope you are all having a fabulous week. I definitely disappeared for a bit. Female exams have been keeping me sane...one more to go and it will officially be 1st semester of grad. school completed (wohoo team Engineers).

It was one of those Saturday night that I could not figure out what to wear the next morning for church so I busted out my sewing machine and Ankara print that I had and started sewing...sadly I have no picture without the blazer so will have to show the full dress properly next time

Showing off my new True Image Bible for girls....I've had Bible fir women for a long time but when I saw the cover of this Bible it look so much fun and I just had to get it.

Sunny

It was one of those sunny fall day so I decided to play with some colors while staying away from  my regular blues and greens

Can you tell that I love wearing my braids way too much?

Ankara print bangles for N'omose Couture

Jessica Simpson animal print open toes shoes - - very comfortable to walk in

When I got this MK watch I was basically looking for an everyday watch and it definitely has become just that as they appear in 90% of my post

These glasses are Jessica Simpson and I absolutely adore them....(yes I consider $50 pricey  for a pair if you are considering creating a collection) however Burlington Coat Factory have a wide collections of JS sunglasses just under $25 I can't help myself from getting one of her pairs each time I shop there.

Everything girly

Since the Soiree in early November I have not had a girls night out and I just have a craving for one like soonest, I am overwhelm with school work and so need a break with the ladies. If that does happen soon black and gold is definitely my ideal outfit with a pop of burgundy lip. I've fallen in love with Burgundy lip in the past 2 weeks and just keep loving it. Its girls night so a fun, playful and flowery fabric will definitely do paired with some tights to keep warm (I go double layered with tights). With this dress neckline, keep the neck area simple and throw in a pair of long/drop earrings. 5-6 inches platform pump are usually my first grab when it comes to shoes and these gold glittered pump are fabulous. (I've got my eyes on them for my next shoe purchase). With this outfit I'd ditch the boyfriend watch and go for skinny feminine watch with some rings to go. Throw in a girly knee length coat and head out the door for a great night with the ladies.

Happy mid-week!
